National Account Manager | Fresh Produce
We are working with a leading fresh produce business who are looking to add a National Account Manager to their team after sustained growth and success. The business have been very strong to adapt to the changing market and have set themselves up as a very strong partner to a number of retailers, as well as non-retails customers.
This role will be customer focussed with a real push towards developing sales growth, along with building multi-level, long term relationships. It will be split between maintaining current growth with channels to existing customers, but also continuing to develop new business opportunities, in line with company growth targets.
You will be providing accurate forecasts and data which will be crucial in supporting the operations, finance and procurement team with their own strategy, you will also be assisting and contributing to the NPD team where necessary. Along with developing your own sales & marketing strategy, negotiating prices and ensuring the highest service levels to customers.
The successful candidate will have the following:-
At least 4 years of Account Management experience supplying Fresh Produce into Retailers
Very numerate, excellent communication skills and a brilliant understanding of Microsoft Office.
Good ability as a self-starter and be able to prioritise opportunities and challenges effectively.
The business is looking for someone who can operate autonomously and is able to take ownership of the challenges presented to them, without needing to ask for help on the smallest of things.
