SEND Teacher - Mainstream school - Central Birmingham - Primary School

Your new company

Ward End Primary School is a larger than average, Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school that is situated in Birmingham. This role has become available due to there not being enough spaces with SEN schools and this primary school is continuously expanding.

Your new role

You will be working with a small group of around 7 children with SEN needs, they have no behavioural issues. The children's unit you will be working in is attached to a lovely school.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and be able to use Makaton and PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System). You must have experience of working with SEN children and a good understanding of the EYFS National Curriculum.

In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.
