Heat Recruitment is currently handling the recruitment of an experienced Residential Conveyancing Lawyer, seeking to make the next step towards management, on behalf of a leading regional law firm based in Corby.
This leading, regional firm has a high-performing and exceedingly busy Residential Conveyancing Team and they are now seeking to recruit a new member of the team with the experience to add value quickly and supervise more junior members of the team, reporting to the wider Head of Department.
The firm is well-established in the Midlands, with multiple offices and a strong reputation. They have Legal 500 recognition in various aspects of their work, have been commended by the Law Society and won local awards. The firm has a long and proud tradition coupled with a modern approach.
As part of the firm's growth, they are able to offer a real opportunity for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer, of at least 3 years' PQE gained from reputable firms, to progress with them and integrate well within the team.
The successful Residential Conveyancing Lawyer will have conduct of their own caseload, working on the full range of conveyancing matters including but not limited to: sales, purchases, freeholds, leaseholds, new builds, shared ownership and both registered and unregistered land. They will also have additional responsibility for some supervision of junior conveyancers and acting as a sounding board for any queries.
The salary on offer is negotiable, dependent on experience between £40,000 and £50,000. Furthermore, this is a great chance to learn and grow within a high-performing and talented department, as part of an award-winning firm.
- In order to be considered, you should be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer with experience of handling your own caseload comprising the full range of residential property matters
- You should be a dynamic and team orientated worker, with the ability to work well towards deadlines and an ambition to lead and help other members of your team
- You should have a good client manner and the ability to network and bring on new clients is particularly favourable
