This school repeatedly achieves academic excellence and had over 95% pass rate for GCSE last year. It is a small but supportive DT department with an experienced Head of Department to support through your journey.
Your new role
In this Design and Technology teacher job, you will be responsible for teaching across different ages, planning and preparing lessons, delivering lessons and then completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work.it is desirable that you can teach Food Technology as your specialism but not essential.
You will be confident, creative & have the ability to drive all pupils to reach their full potential while having a passion for teaching D.T.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have extensive subject knowledge, relevant qualifications (QTS or NQT). You must have recent experience within last 2 years in the classroom, and be committed, positive and enthusiastic. Strong classroom management is expected and a passion to educate your pupils to the highest standards.
