If so, I'm glad I have your attention as I have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and determined individual in a school in Eckington, Sheffield.

The school require a teacher who can implement engagement from day one so you will need to be confident and charismatic. The school are looking for you to be available for 4 days a week, Monday to Thursday.

In your new role as a Science Teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver engaging Science lessons to students of all abilities in KS3 and KS4. On your timetable there is also 3 lessons of Y13 Physics which you must be able and comfortable to deliver.

The school is seeking a Science Specialist that is inspirational, dynamic and committed to making a difference to students lives. This role will initially run from January 2021 to April 2021.

Essential qualifications/experience:

A PGCR degree in Science with QTS and Induction Completed or NQT
Experience teaching in a similar school setting, which will include substantive experience teaching Ks3/Ks4/Ks5 Science
A proven commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children
Experience and commitment to collaborative working in a team-focused environment
Experience teaching the curriculum
Experience with differentiating instruction to meet the learning needs of all students
Strong oral and written communication skills
Willingness to contribute to school life and activities in additional ways through coaching, advising and special projects
