Job Title: Accounts Assistant Location: Edinburgh

Your new company

You will be working for a highly regarded and long established CA firm. The firm offer a broad range of services to clients in both the private and not for profit sectors. The services the firm offer range from accounts & audit through to taxation and advisory. They are looking to bring in an accounts assistant to help in one the busy specialist accounting teams.

Your new role

You will be be responsible for accounts preparation, tax computations, submission of VAT returns, preparation of management accounts and other ad-hoc finance duties. You will be on hand to assist clients with queries and will support more junior members of the team as you progress your career in the coming months and years.

What you'll need to succeed

A degree to 2.1 or above is essential and ideally you will also have some finance experience gained working for an accountancy firm.
