Project Manager with strong software delivery experience required to join our client in the city centre of Edinburgh.
A well-established Software House with a niche software offering who are looking to grow due to a huge business win. The company has grown steadily for the past few decades and are now landing contracts with some of the biggest players within their industry. The organisation are 11 strong but currently looking to add 3 new heads to the team and you will be the first project manager within the company, so an exceptional opportunity to shape how the business delivers projects in going forward.
This role will suit a versatile project manager who has a range of experience delivering both small and large projects. Software implementation experience is an absolute must - the client develops their own bespoke software so it would be handy if you had previous experience in a software house or in a client driven environment as a minimum.
As you will primarily be working software development teams, significant experience across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) is required, and a background in application development is highly desirable. You should also be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively in an environment subject to change (you may also have to 'wear different hats' and chip in with different tasks as required), with whilst making decision on what methodologies suit best - Agile, Waterfall etc.
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of multiple, concurrent projects, from end-to-end, ensuring that project teams meet agreed deadlines and objectives. In addition to producing, monitoring, and maintaining project plans (including budget, scope, etc.) you will work closely with key stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
Package & Benefits:
The salary range on offer is £50,000 - £55,000 and this includes the usual benefits. The role post Covid will be based in their City Centre offices and whilst this is a client facing role there will be very minimal amounts of travel.
