I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Greater London Local Authority for a Pensions Accounting Manager to work on a contract basis.

Applicants must have Local Authority Pensions Accounting (ideally LGPS) experience and be fully qualified in Accountancy. The successful applicant will be experienced and competent to manager the full pensions process themselves and will be familiar with Ledger systems (preferably Agresso).

The successful applicant must also have experience of accounts to trial balance and the knowledge/experience to produce a clean audit and deal with audit queries. Experience of producing annual reports and handling associated queries is also essential.

This is a stand-alone role with no line management responsibility.
