Paratus have a brand-new opportunity for a Principal RF (Radio Frequency) Engineer with a particular focus on power amplifiers. Our client is a global leader in the design, development and supply of digital radio solutions, complementary accessories, support tools and devices.

You will have a proven wealth of experience with radio frequency design and high-volume product development, working to create the specification, design and testing of TX subsystems. It is essential you have experience in power amplifier development for mobile and/or fixed site communications.

The role is based in Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom and you'll be joining a small, focused team who communicate effectively with colleagues across multiple disciplines.
Your key experience will lie in:

* Discrete linear power amplifier design

* Transmitter chain design

* Radio frequency design

* Analogue and handset design

* Printed coupler design

* Radio frequency simulation tools

* Portable product design

It'll be an added bonus if you also have experience in TETRA, 3G and 4G design as well as Global Positioning System, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth design.
