One of the UKs leading brands are looking for a Test Manager to join their Technology Group, you will be leading operational Test Management as well as Test Strategy. This is an exciting time to join this organisation as they head towards and through some significant changes to their application and infrastructure landscape. You will be the first dedicated test manager for the organisation, you will be bringing together desperate resource and processes to form a common approach to test management. This is a rare opportunity to dictate the overall test approach for a major organisation.
Operationally the technology group are making a move toward Agile and DevOps delivery methods, this is being done in a pragmatic way and it is important that the successful candidate is able to deliver test strategy through a variety of methods and approaches not just Agile and DevOps.
The organisation are also at the start of significant change to the application landscape, the Test manager will play a key part in the transformation and it is imperative the successful candidate has the ability to engage with the business and support the project group in ensuring the business are fully engaged with the test and release strategy.
The ideal candidate must have
Experince working at a Test Manager
A clear interest in permanent long term work
Strong demonstratable communication skills both written and verbal
Strong leadership experience
Experience of setting and implementing a test strategy
Experience of leading testing across Software and Infrastructure.
Experience of setting up and managing test environments
Ability to manage budgets, cost projects and forecast resource.
Strong QA and continual improvement experience.
Experience of delivering testing process via Agile, Waterfall, Automated and DevOps approaches
Management experience across the full test lifecycle.
Ideally but not essentially ISEB qualified.
