Are you a Nursery Manager who is passionate about early years education, and who loves the idea of working in a small and very friendly setting? If so, then we are looking for Nursery Manager who can lead, manage and foster a small close knit team with child ages from 12 months to 4 years.
The role as Nursery Manager - You will be tasked with ensuring the smooth running of the nursery and have experience of how to support and manage all staff. You will directly report to both co-owners and liaise with them about logistics, routines and required tasks.
You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, safeguarding and well-being of the children and staff. You will act as the main role model and promote the setting's philosophy and ethos, showing creativity and high-energy whilst using your own initiative. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about creating new and exciting learning environments.
Essential qualifications and must haves:
-Level 3 Qualification in childcare
-Experience working with 6 months to 4 year old children
-Minimum of 1 years senior management experience
-Ofsted inspection experience
-Sound knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
-Excellent knowledge and understanding of the safeguarding children obligations
-Experience working and supporting children with SEN (desirable)
-Someone who is highly organised, reliable and a driven team-player
-Strong relationship-building and communication skills to build a rapport with parents and peers
-Creative and very passionate about children and their development
-Up to date with new approaches for child led play
-A real passion for nature play and engaging children with the outdoors
-Key features of this role is to guide, encourage and maintain high standards for child safety, and well-being, whilst keeping an uplifted morale for the existing team.
