.An opportunity to gain experience at a well established Lloyd's syndicate in their Underwriting Technical Support department on a maternity cover contract for 9 months. This is a key role for the syndicate which aims to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities will include assistance with the monitoring of operational reports, being Data Coordinator for all allocated classes of business, attending and preparing documentation for team meetings, dealing with internal and external queries, ensuring that underwriters resolve contract certainty queries within a timely manner, providing box support at Lloyd's when required, building working relationships with brokers and third party providers, and other ad hoc administration when required.
The successful candidate will have some experience of working in the Lloyd's insurance market in an administrative role and good knowledge of different classes of business. You will be a confident communicator who works well in a team environment and excellent IT skills.
