Founded in 1901, The Club is the oldest and largest in the world for all forms of camping. We operate a network of more than 100 UK campsites, have an in-house Travel Service that provides Club members with ferry crossings and campsite bookings throughout Europe, as well as organising fly-drive tours to exciting destinations such as Japan and New Zealand.
With half a million members and over 800 employees, we are certainly not a small operation; although our culture still retains a friendly, 'family' feel.
Our Marketing and Communications department in itself has over 50 employees; of whom are spread across Digital, Communications, Publications and Product Executives.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior SEO and Content Executive to join our talented Digital Team. This post is responsible for effectively planning and implementing content and SEO activities across the Club's broad portfolio and also involves managing a small team.
Day to day duties will include:
·Managing and executing the implementation of SEO activities, including content, outreach and technical SEO, to deliver on the agreed annual targets and supporting metrics
·Use data to drive further decision making and report on the effectiveness of SEO and content
·Measure and report performance and ROI
·Manage team do deliver on content for SEO as well as BAU content tasks e.g. pricing, date change etc
·Monitor and evaluate GA reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
·Keep pace with SEO, social media and digital marketing industry trends
·Carry out regular competitor analysis to learn from the marketing activity of key online and offline competitors
·Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive engagement across all content and SEO activities
·Execute activities for content development in co-ordination with SEO goals - general and keyword specific
We're looking for the following skills and experience:
·Minimum 3 years' experience of creating and managing digital content and SEO in a B2C environment
·Excellent knowledge of SEO tools for auditing rankings and research, technologies and industry trends
·Proven experience of delivering commercial content marketing strategies and plans with emphasis on ROI
·An enthusiastic and logical problem solver
·Experience of reporting with web and social analytics, including Google Analytics, Keyword Planner and Webmaster Tools
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), including a good level of verbal communication, especially when providing feedback to stakeholders on progress
