Your new company are a leader in their field based in Stoke on Trent and are looking for a Finance Team Leader to join the team on a fixed term basis to cover a maternity leave for over a year.
Your new role
Your new role will provide day to day operational support to the team and to directors of the business, duties will include but not be limited to;
- Providing day to day support and management of a team of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable employees
- Ensuring the finance team deliver on their priorities and deadlines and providing the support for them to achieve
- Acting as an escalation point for the finance team
- Handling queries from employees and colleagues and resolving any issues quickly and efficiently
- Working with the Finance Team, Finance Director and various other senior members of the management team to achieve the overall business goals
- Balancing the needs to achieve targets with delivering an excellent customer service
What you'll need to succeed
- Experience of leading a successful finance team
- Experience of working under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Knowledge of Accounting systems, such as Sage 500, Xero, Sage 50
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of skill in organising and prioritising
- Good IT skills, including Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
