We are very proud to be representing our client in the search for a Project Manager due to significant growth. Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader in the design and development of bespoke equipment for the pharmaceutical industry and have a very established and significant customer base. The Role

This is a new requirement within the Projects Team reporting to the Senior Project Manager. This person will manage a range of projects in value and complexity, starting at handover from sales, managing the project through design (GA and P&ID drawing approval and then detailed design), procurement, fabrication, assembly, testing and customer FAT.

Products are typically all bespoke, rarely getting a like for like order, meaning meticulous due diligence is very important to ensure the project timescales are set out properly and the right expectation is set with the customer. The right candidate will come from an engineering background, preferably having some experience in design or project engineering / management. It is important we find someone who is able to follow process and procedures, meticulous, checking everything they do to ensure it is right, taking ownership and responsibility of a project is key. Regular communication and building a strong relationship with the client is essential.

Your Background

HNC\HND in Mechanical Engineering.
2-3 years' experience working in project management.
Experience running internal projects from start to finish.
Experience managing costings, logistics and the operational side of a project.
Experience working with similar kit or within the industry would be beneficial.
