The AICS Group specialises in providing community-based rehabilitation and support to clients who suffered from a brain injury.

AICS Group is looking for a Female Team Leader in Care Sector to work with our Client, a young female in her early twenties.

This role provides immense job satisfaction within a busy and varied environment, working with a range of health and social care professionals.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Client is a young female who suffered from Acquired Brain Injury and have a history of Epilepsy.

The ideal Support worker should have experience in brain injury, and be able to prompt client for daily living tasks: self-care, medication, shopping, meal planning and preparation, money management.

The shift pattern is from 12 hours a day followed by a sleep-in shift.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential Skills:

•Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Team Leader with adults or children who have brain injuries.

•An understanding of the needs of adults or children with cognitive and physical impairment

•Good verbal and written communication skills

•Ability to liaise with other professionals

•Ability to work autonomously and productively as part of a team

•The ability to relate to people from a wide variety of backgrounds

•Skills in communicating with tact and sensitivity

•The ability to remain calm under pressure

Desirable Skills:

•Current and clean driver's license

•Experience of providing care to people living in the community
