My client's mission is to make the world more secure in the face of targeted threats and evolving, machine-speed attacks. They are now extending this platform to in-vehicle threats, as well as the typical Cloud-based infrastructure for a vehicle fleet. Due to this they are now looking for a Systems Engineer - CAN bus
As the new Systems Engineer - CAN bus you would be joining the R&D software team to create and then be part of monitoring and analysing a lab representative of automotive CAN and Ethernet networks. As well as demonstrated knowledge and hands-on skills with automotive networks, software, and protocols, the ideal candidate will have some C++ or other software development experience.
Key responsibilities for this role of Systems Engineer - CAN bus
-You will be responsible for building and operating an ICS laboratory
-You will be working closely with the R&D software teams to create a wide range of possible automation network activities on a small scale
-Running the laboratory will involve rapid change and additions to equipment, software, programming
And network protocols
Previous experience needed for this role of Systems Engineer - CAN bus
-Previous significant experience and skills creating and operating a variety of Automotive in-vehicle networks
-2:1 Honours degree in a relevant technical subject
-Experience of CAN and Automotive Ethernet, and relevant software
-previous experience of programming in C++ language, or similar
