My Client, a specialist UK based Consultancy which specialises in Hydrology and Hydrogeology, is searching for an Assistant Flood Risk Consultant to be based in Shrewsbury.

Applicants are required to have a strong MSc and/or BSc in a relevant discipline including Environmental Management, Hydrology or Civil Engineering and ideally have experience working for UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and Flood Estimation.

It is also benificial for applicants to have experience completing Hydraulic Modelling or Surface Water Management Plans.

This exciting role will offer you full training and support and the chance to join a specialist UK based Consultancy based in Shrewsbury. This exciting role will involve varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Housing Developers.

You will be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Rainfall Analysis using FEH, Hydrological Assessments, Surface Water Management Plans, Catchment Management Plans, Hydraulic Modelling and design of Drainage Soakaways and Lagoons.

You will also have the opportunity to be involved in site visits and training courses.
