Our busy and established practice client is seeking to recruit an additional member of staff due to increased work loads / company expansion
Due to office location it is essential to have your own transport - plenty of parking available on site.
Responsibilities / Duties
Bookkeeping using online ClearBooks, Xero and Freeagent software and Sage
Reconciliation of control accounts including bank accounts, debtors and creditors
Checking and processing client expense returns
Preparation and subsequent submission of VAT returns monthly
Technical research and responsibility for ensuring clients are made aware of important legislative changes
Monitoring relative merits of alternative VAT schemes
Monthly review of financial data on ClearBooks
Assist in the setup of new clients on ClearBooks
Provide accounts and tax support for general practice work as required
Office-based, you must be able to work on own initiative under pressure to meet strict deadlines. An organised approach and a keen attention to detail are also key.
Software used by our client includes -ClearBooks,Xero, Freeagent, CCH professional suite (AP, Personal Tax, CorTAX, Central Practice Management, Document Management and Portal), Sage Line 50, and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Our client is also happy to consider candidates on a part time basis on an hourly salary of around £11-£12 per hour depending on experience levels.
