Year 5 (Key Stage 2) Teacher

North Tyneside

£105 - £207 per day

January 2021 - July 2021

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher (KS2) to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in the North Tyneside area. This is a full-time primary teaching role, covering a Year 5 class which will commence in January 2021 and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The role

The desired Year 5 Teacher (KS2) will be working in a smaller than average size class of 24 pupils, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would only be suitable for Newly qualified teachers and also experienced teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in a Year 5 class who has good knowledge of the Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. This will be a full class teaching role and the successful applicant will be expected to plan and deliver fun and engaging lessons in Key Stage 2 (KS2). Full time hours will include working 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday.

This is a smaller than average sized primary school where Children's outcomes are improving rapidly. Within school the lessons are calm and purposeful, with pupils engaged in learning and clear about what is expected of them. In school pupils behave well and are respectful of each other and of the teaching staff.


To be considered for the position of Year 5 (KS2) Teacher, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Have experience teaching primary education at a Key Stage 2 level.

Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of primary Teachers.

Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
