Our client, a global consultancy organization, are looking for someone to join their accounts team. Focusing on the accounts receivable and credit control processes, this will be a "player manager" role where you are actively working on the ledgers whilst leading a small team.
The role will involve: -
Managing credit checking on customers and performing ongoing health-check on customer accounts
There is an Account Receivable Administrator and a dedicated Credit Controller that report into this person - therefore the emphasis of this role is on the ledger work and your only credit control duties will be for clients that are at 60+ days - the final call before matters get escalated.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following background: -
Ideally 5 years + in Sales Ledger and Credit control
Ideally 2 years + in a leadership or management capacity
A good standard of education - any AAT qualifications would be very useful
A strong customer service ethos
Experience providing proactive support to maximise cash collection which will include reporting on team performance, producing reports for management, regular review of aged debtors, etc
