Job Details

A superb opportunity has arisen to join a highly successful, friendly company in the scientific field as a Database Administrator. This position would suit someone with superb attention to detail, excellent organisational skills and a keen desire to work on projects.

The role would be working from home but they may return to their Oxford based offices in due course.

To support the whole company by compiling mailing lists and analytical reports for marketing,
business development, projects and informing company strategy

Ensure that records in the Dynamics CRM database are accurate and kept up to date
Maintain and develop the GDPR compliant database as a tool for direct mail, response analysis,
meetings, campaign follow-up and for tracking customers' purchasing behaviour

Maintain the company project pipeline and create target lists by researching companies, entering
all leads, client, meeting, and project information into the Dynamics CRM database

Research on content for Teasers and other client material
Manage mailing lists in Mailchimp or similar system and ensure the CRM reflects any changes to
clients who have opted out of receiving marketing materials

Troubleshooting and liaising with support company to fix issues
Work with external consultants to design and develop the system as the company requirements
increase whilst testing and modifying the database to ensure it operates reliably, ensuring

developments are signed off before they are implemented

Design processes for maintenance procedures and put them into operation in updating the CRM
on an ongoing basis.
Define objectives for the design of the CRM through consultation with staff at all levels
Writing customised reports, documentation, and operating manuals
Data cleansing and data entry to ensure all information is current and relevant
Manage database security/integrity and backup procedures
Essential Skills

• Data management expertise

• Substantial experience of CRM marketing (Microsoft Dynamics)

• Knowledge of the life science industry an advantage

• Keyboard skills, preferably with touch-typing ability

• Communication and interpersonal skills

• Familiarity with computer operating systems and database technology (design, software and

structure

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Technical and logical approach to work

• Good organisation skills with the ability to priority tasks

• Problem-solving skills

• Strong client orientation
