The role

As Global Core Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a consumer relevant seasonal strategy and corresponding integrated marketing communications for the Clarks Core brand globally, focused predominately on driving market growth. You will create and deliver the Core marketing strategy, respective seasonal plans and integrated marketing communications that respond to strategic needs and commercial opportunities, and that enable consistent delivery of the brand proposition in front of the consumer.

Working closely with the Head of Brand Marketing to evaluate and evolve brand objectives and strategies to ensure alignment between brand and business strategic objectives you will ensure a consistent approach and communicate agreed key messages and stories to our consumers.

Not only will you collaborate with the Head of Marketing (Core) and BU leadership teams on key seasonal marketable product concepts and develop consumer propositions to inform creative campaign and asset development you will also work with teams to develop and articulate campaign ideas and briefs.

We need someone who can bring their experience and knowledge to continually improve relevant procedures and processes, delivering efficiency improvements to current ways of working in line with agreed outcomes. You will have the chance to create the conditions that deliver a highly competent, energetic, engaged and motivated workforce who are committed and aligned to delivery outcomes.

About you

More than anything you will be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of marketing planning and development processes. Ideally you will come from a career in Retail and have a thorough understanding of both digital and wholesale channels.

A strong leader who gets the best out of their team, you will enjoy coaching and developing others to truly maximise your internal talent.

A data driven professional with strong analytical skills you will also be able to communicate well in client facing and internal team situations and have a collaborative working style with a clear focus on delivering quality outcomes.

Proven exposure in delivering high quality work within constrained timescales with the ability to lead within a matrix organisation to develop powerful creative solutions that deliver brand building and commercial returns.
