We are looking for our next Project Manager to follow a progression path as part of our growing Team.
What you'll do:
•You'll ensure that projects are delivered to the customer at the agreed time and to the quality standard required whilst maintaining the 'as sold' (or better) commercial position.
•Taking full ownership of customer accounts, you'll be the main point of contact managing, maintaining and improving the customer experience to ensure delivery commitments are met.
•You'll lead and manage the full lifecycle of new products that covers all aspects of risk, cost, quoting, time, manufacture, quality and support
•Being accountable for Project forecasting and financial performance reporting you'll also provide an entrepreneurial approach to business development, securing new opportunities with existing customers
•By ensuring that everyone understands what success looks like and the deliverables required at each project stage you'll communicate project status, project process and progress with senior internal stakeholders & clients
We'd love you to have:
•Ideally knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes, if not strong manufacturing exposure
•Experience of working in a manufacturing environment that has given you an insight into what is achievable for your customers
•?Either the experience of / or ?interest in nurturing your leadership skills, getting actively involved in project work, and pursuing your goals
•Experience using software planning tools like Microsoft project as well as IT skills including Word & Excel, PowerPoint
•The ability to interpret, interrogate and question technical specifications such as manufacturing drawings and product data
