Job Details

The Education Network is working in partnership with a new provision in Durham seeking a Bricklaying teacher to work with a smaller class of learners on a part time basis.

The role will involve delivering Bricklaying City & Guilds levels 1 -3. To a small group of learners aged between 16-19 as well as some veteran learners.

The minimum requirements for this role

6-12 months teaching a vocational subject.
Experience with bricklaying.
Able to provide an education based reference within the last 24 months.
Desireable skills

Experience teaching other vacational skills such as joinery or electrical.
Experience working with students with challenging behaviour.
All candidates applying for this role must either hold an Enhanced DBs or be willing to apply for one
