We are seeking a Parent Liaison, Payroll and Pensions Accountant to be the initial point of contact in finance for our student's parents and pay-rolled staff; the Parent Liaison, Payroll and Pensions Accountant will ensure effective, high- quality service delivery and build and maintain good working relationships.

The role is responsible for managing, maintaining and recording accurate, relevant, financial information and producing external reporting for the School across the Music and Dance Scheme, Grants, Prizes and Bursaries and for all payroll and pension related items.

This role would suit a CIPP or CCAB qualified, pro-active and efficient finance professional who has an eye for detail coupled with excellent communication skills and the drive to deliver excellent customer service. Experience in payroll, pensions and the related UK tax framework is essential. An understanding of the global personal taxation framework and the ability to decipher overseas tax records is desirable.

This is a varied and demanding role requiring excellent administration and management skills, a high degree of attention to detail as well as the ability to appreciate and consider a wider view of the School's operations and the needs of other departments and teams. It offers a detailed insight into a leading educational and artistic organisation and the opportunity to contribute to the development of the finance function and be closely involved in the upgrade of systems.

Salary: £43,000 per annum pro rata

Duration: Two years fixed term

Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week (Monday - Friday with core hours to be covered)

Location: Mainly home based, one day per week at Upper School, Covent Garden

Holidays: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays (pro rata 21/35)

Start date: ASAP
