English Graduates - Seaford

Have you recently graduated with a 2:1 or higher in English, either literature or language?

Have you considered using this degree to enhance the development of secondary age pupils and supporting them in gaining the grades they're aiming for?

Prospero Teaching Brighton are actively recruiting for a larger than average secondary school in Seaford, who are keen to appoint academic mentors specialising in English. You must have an understanding of the GSCE framework and previous experience either tutoring or working with children and young people is desired.

The roles we have available are on a part time basis and will offer you the chance to utilise your knowledge and skills by working with pupils who are under achieving in their English studies.

CONTRACT DETAILS
* Location - Seaford, East Sussex
* Position - Academic Mentor (English Specialist)
* Type of work - Support
* Contract or position start date - 2nd November

* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing
* Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
* Full time/part time - Full time
* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £63 per day
* Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents evenings

TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Education Workforce Council (EWC) Membership
*Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can assist)

*Experience as a support worker or teaching assistant

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
*Provide two professional child related references
