The role

Vision for Education are looking for inspirational and experienced and immediately available SEND teaching assistants to work with our partner special schools across Middlesbrough and North Yorkshire.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are 6 weeks experience in a school, experience working as a Teaching Assistant or within a SEND environment.

We work with a variety of SEND schools which cater for the following SEND:

Autism Spectrum and related conditions
SEMH
MLD
SLD
PMLD
Requirements

The ideal SEND teaching assistant will:

Have proven experience supporting children academically in small groups and individuals.
Make a direct impact with some of the most vulnerable learners in education as part of a wider team of support staff.
Team Teach is highly desirable.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS Check that must be registered to the Update Service.
