Operations Leadership

Execute business plan, and manage business capital plan
Establish goals for plant and review performance against expectations
Participate in union consultations
Make grievance decisions
Conduct weekly staff meetings
Address escalated issues from team, and resolve problems
Establish priorities on orders and approve team expenditures
Diagnose on time delivery issues; create plan/process to resolve issues
Champion and manage improvement efforts
Lead orientation towards industry best practices
Execute Bold Goals
Champion and ensure plant safety Customer Relations and Business Development

Interact with customers (visit sites, handle escalated issues)
Participate in key customer business review meetings
Contribute to significant proposals
Proactively reach out to customers
Develop new business (serve as resource to Sales Manager & European Sales Manager) Strategy and Planning

Align business goals and strategy
Anticipate and align business processes to have new business competency
Create new strategy for business
Develop and communicate vision
Cascade vision throughout the business
Identify strategic initiatives and create strategic plan
Communicate execution plan for strategy
Contribute to budget creation Talent Leadership

Champion DMTM culture
Champion talent (inspire, motivate, represent team at special events)
Develop managers
Conduct one-on-ones with direct reports
Review disciplinary actions
Attend new hire orientation
Participate in People Day

Conduct performance reviews

Previous experience working within an heavy engineering manufacturing environment,
Managing and overseeing full facility and departments
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to develop internal and external relationships
Driving people development and business growth.

Business Management or Engineering Degree

Similar Industry background experience from either

Oil & Gas, Foundry/ Refinery,
Heavy Engineering/manufacturing
