Technical Manager (Onshore Wind)
Location: Cheshire
£40,000-£60,000 + Company Car + 25 days holidays plus bank holidays

A fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest wind farm developers and owners in the UK

This company are based in Cheshire and own and operate windfarms across Scotland, and are passionate about combatting climate change.

You will be carrying out wind farm design and layout optimisation, and you will be playing a lead role in the future of a brand new windfarm under construction and three currently in development where every day will be different.

The ideal candidate is passionate about climate change; with a strong statistical, data processing and manipulation expertise within the wind sector. They must also have experience or knowledge of undertaking wind energy resource assessments with an appreciation of wind conditions and issues in complex terrain.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to have a big impact on climate change in this position and positions within the company moving forward.

The role:
*Site Assessments
*Due Diligence
*Grid Connection Design
*Wind Assessments
*Wind analysis

The Person:
* Engineering Degree or Degree in Renewable Energy
* A knowledge of wider renewables technologies and use of CFD;
* Experience of using GIS, Wind Pro or equivalent;
* A understanding of technical due diligence for large wind projects
