Are you passionate about content and looking for an exciting leadership role? Join our vibrant Campaign Delivery and Content team at AQA. We're looking for a Senior Content and Resource Manager, based in Guildford or Manchester, who'll lead a team of content creators in delivering world-class assessment-focused content.

The successful Senior Content and Resource Manager will champion content in our business, working with their team and others, to deliver consistent, excellent, brand-aligned content that supports our qualifications and our events. They'll also manage our high level relationships with educational publishers, ensuring that AQA's Publishing Process is well supported, allowing teachers and students to access quality textbooks.

You'll keep up-to-date on industry trends and will share your ever-evolving insight and knowledge around best practice within your team and throughout AQA. You'll also be focussed on your customers' needs, driving research and measurement of our content and how it's used, so you can lead your team in continuous improvement.

The Senior Content and Resource Manager position is integral leader within our Campaign Delivery and Content team. They're responsible for direction setting, capacity planning and direct line management of a team, including Content and Resource Producers, a Publishing Lead and Content and Resource Coordinators. As such, line management experience is essential to this role.

Key experience / expertise sought
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of what great content is and how to drive its development
  • Have excellent inter-personal skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively, coach, negotiate, influence and provide constructive challenge
  • Be highly organised, with a proven track-record of planning and managing the delivery of complex content plans on time, to quality and on budget
  • Be creative and pragmatic - able to drive creative thinking while delivering on business objectives
  • Be data savvy and able to analyse, interpret and draw insights from complex data
