Qualified Accountant, Christian Charity, London, c£45k DOE
Great opportunity for an experienced and fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) to join this established Christian Charity in the heart of London. Reporting in to and supporting the Head of Finance and IT whom you will assist in the management of the Finance team, VAT & payroll and in the preparation of financial analysis reports for the Leadership Team, and Trustee Board and sub-committees. This is a hands-on role, requiring an adaptive and flexible fully qualified accountant experienced in the preparation of financial statements, financial and management reporting, annual financial planning, VAT and supervising Payroll for a Christian Charity. You will have at least 5 years post qualified commercial experience with strong IT skills (ideally including Sage), proficiency in financial accounting & reporting, including external statutory reporting and audit. Solid Management accounting experience including planning, forecasting, monthly reporting, payroll and VAT and a proven ability for implementing and monitoring financial controls. You have experience in line management as well as knowledge of relevant legal and HR issues and a detailed knowledge of Charity Accounting and the Charity SORP.
In addition, this role has a GOR under the Equality Act of 2010 for the post holder to be a committed Evangelical Christian and an active member of your church family. The role is home based (anywhere in mainland UK) with monthly travel to the London offices and offers a salary of up to £45,000 (negotiable) + substantial benefits.
