University Department of Podiatry
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, and innovative Podiatry Head of Service to join NHS Lanarkshire. The successful candidate will strategically lead and operationally manage the NHS Lanarkshire University Department of Podiatry, ensuring high-quality podiatry service provision is provided to the population of Lanarkshire.
Through working with the Chief Operating Officers, AHP Director, AHP Heads of Service, Clinical Leads, Service Managers, and University partners you will be responsible for the provision of expert Podiatry advice to ensure the delivery of high level, safe and effective care whilst ensuring adherence to professional guidelines and standards of professional practice and conduct.
You will direct and create a culture of continuous improvement and modernisation through research & development in-conjunction with NHS Lanarkshire and our University partners.
Experience of working at a senior Podiatry Professional level managing staff, risk, complaints, and governance processes.
Experience of practice development and innovation at a strategic organisational level, people management, education, performance and budget management.
Be able to display an extensive knowledge and understanding of clinical governance and quality assurance, improvements and evidence-based clinical practice.
Proven effective change/project management and leadership skills and the ability to direct change at a clinical and strategic level.
A valid driving licence is required.
