An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Information and Engagement Lead to join a public sector organisation based in East London. The role is for 3 days per week.

The role will be the lead for 'user voice' and information and advice for the commissioning service. The role will be responsible for the continuing development and maintenance of the organisation's statutory requirements for information and advice provision and will be responsible for the development and delivery of information and advice programmes and campaigns for Care & Support in coordination with the Communications Team.

The role will ensure that carers and vulnerable adults engage with and shape information and advice, events and commissioning activity to ensure that information and advice provision and commissioned services are meaningful, responsive and meet the needs and outcomes of service users.

The successful candidate will have experience working within commissioning, with knowledge of statutory requirements for information and advice provision within the context of Care and Support, with the ability to plan, manage and report upon campaigns and events.

Key duties:

To ensure that the organisation is complying with statutory requirements for the provision of Information and Advice as set out under legislation
To lead on the development, maintenance and accuracy of webpages relating to the commissioning services
To ensure that web content adheres to the protocols, policies and procedures set down for the management of web content by the organisation
To be responsible for actively researching subject matter for web content inclusion
To manage and be responsible for the updating of all information and advice media ensuring that the most up to date information is available and accurate
To lead on engagement with internal and external partners and stakeholders to ensure that information is updated in a timely and accurate fashion
To ensure that information and advice is formatted in a variety of ways ensuring that it can reach a wide and diverse audience and meets the needs of service users and carers for which the information is intended
To lead on the commissioning and management of small contracts
To lead on the strategic development of an information and advice programme/strategy for Care and Support with communications input
To manage yearly campaigns, produce advertising media in a variety of formats and to lead on marketing projects where appropriate, working closely with the communications and events teamsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
