Position: Finance Manager
Salary: £45,000 to £55,000
Location: Milton Keynes
Our client, a prestigious leading global company, seeks a dynamic and results-oriented Finance professional to join their highly successful team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in executing operational financial transactions and efficiently mapping all business transactions in accounting. As Finance Manager, you will be providing summary reports and financial statements. You will also be Improving results by creating analyses and recommended actions.
Key responsibilities/tasks:
Providing a central contact point for internal customers, suppliers/partners and sharing information to enable others to fulfil their role and build their understanding of Finance targets and objectives.
Defining and implementing the finance strategy, in particular accounting and valuation guidelines, accounting manual in the area of responsibility in consultation with the respective interfaces.
Contributing to the development of an accurate, comprehensive budget
Planning personnel, material and financial resources; adhering to the approved budget, monitoring progress and introducing suitable measures to counteract potential and actual deviations.
Undertaking financial transactions including general ledger posting, accruals, prepayments, working capital management, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts preparation and month end procedures.
Preparing monthly commission reconciliations, identifying variances and taking appropriate action.
Defining and proposing control KPI's; developing appropriate optimisation measures and evaluating their success.
Maintaining a robust records system of relevant imports and export documentation (e.g. Tax declarations) in compliance with company and HMRC requirements ensuring easy and complete access of files.
Preparing for and coordinating internal and external custom audits; identifying and introducing corrective actions as appropriate.
Management and reporting of Brexit related cash flows, sharing results with stakeholders and agreeing appropriate action.
Essential requirements:
A Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
CIMA / ACCA (qualified or part qualified)
Fully conversant in SAP C11R3 and Microsoft Office
Strong leadership and motivational skills
Strong analytical, modelling and commercial reporting skills
