Joining our Maths Management Team, you will assist the Curriculum Manager in leading, managing and monitoring the curriculum area to ensure that achievement rates, including high GCSE grades, meet or exceed targets. You must ensure high quality student learning in GCSE and Functional Skills lessons and co-ordinate the schemes of work, assessment schedules and student monitoring. The Team Leader will also assist the Curriculum Manager in leading the curriculum area self-assessment, with staff development and in supporting teachers to prioritise and meet deadlines, ensuring quality of curriculum standards are met in a seamless and holistic way.

This role demands an individual who has excellent skills in teaching maths and who is recognised as a good or better teacher. With a strong vision for the improvement and development of the curriculum area, you will have high personal standards and expectations along with experience of successfully monitoring and supporting 'at risk' learners to achieve or exceed their potential.

We are looking for an individual who holds a Degree or relevant professional qualification in maths. Experience of managing, supporting and developing staff is desirable.
