SEN Teaching Assistant needed for EYFS-KS5 SEN school in Bournemouth!
We are working with a lovely SEN school in Bournemouth in search for the perfect Teaching Assistant for them!
This school is specifically for children with learning disabilities aged 2-19. All pupils who attend have an Education Health Care Plan. The school has approximately 88 children on school site with roughly a quarter of these being part of the Further education department.
In terms of location this school is based in Bournemouth; only 0.4 miles from the train station so is easily commutable from areas such as Southampton and Basingstoke.
We are seeking someone who has experience of supporting children or adults with learning difficulties to be able to deliver a supportive and nurturing role for the school. This is full time, 8.15am to 4pm daily; Monday to Friday. This is on a long term basis but the school will consider a permanent contract for a 'stand out candidate'.
You must be happy to do personal care!
No qualifications necessary but you will need to have at least 6 months UK experience working within Education and supporting children with SEN.
In order to be considered for this position, all applicants must:
have previous experience working in line with the UK national curriculum
hold a current and clear DBS
be able to commit to the full duration of the contract
