Caretaker - Secondary School - Broadstairs

A large Secondary School based in Canterbury in Kent is seeking a Caretaker to cover a long-term sickness.

This role will involve general maintenance across a large school site; the successful applicant must be reliable, hardworking and able to work on their own initiative as well as part of an excellent team.

You will be required to open the school premises; ensure school grounds are tidy providing a safe environment for all staff, student and visitors.

You will be responsible for distributing deliveries, liaising with contractors, Site security and compliant with health and safety / school policies.

You will be working closely with the cleaning team and responsible to check the premises daily prior to student / staff arrival.

Hours will be 7.30am up to 3.30pm - Monday to Friday.
