Nicholas Associates Group is recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client for a Facilities Manager, to join committed and multi-disciplined team, to oversee 3 (manufacturing, test and commercial) facility in and around the South Yorkshire area.

Summary

Accountable for 3 facilities, comprising of a manufacturing unit, as Facilities Manager you will have overall responsibility for directing, coordinating and planning essential services including security, maintenance, archiving, cleaning, waste disposal, recycling and catering for visitors.

Key Duties

Overseeing building renovations/refurbishments, developing an effective maintenance plan as well as organising sub-contract labour.
Accountable for health and safety of staff and contractors
Manage the security of the sites
Ensure the visitor experience the best possible, from the point they enter to the point they leave, including conferencing (AV, comfort in meeting rooms) and hosting (refreshments)
Working with the legal team for any changes needed to the site, ensuring all stakeholders are informed appropriately
Advise the business on increasing energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Skills & Experience

BIFM qualification would be preferred, however candidates with suitable experience will be considered
Experience of facilities management within manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage.
Experience in the generation of method statements and risk assessments
Experience in management or supervision of staff
Good organisational and reporting skills
Practical, analytical and logical problem solving skills
