Purpose of the Job

As the Project Manager, you will be proving project support for the Transformational Project Lead. You will be coordinating and facilitating the department heads, 3rd party suppliers and end-users to ensure a smooth and timely rollout of projects and improvements across the business. As well as engaging with all areas of the business which will require excellent stakeholder engagement and management.

As the successful candidate, you will have worked within a project support role before, Project Coordinator, Business Analyst or similar, and be looking to take the next step towards Project Management, you will have excellent stakeholder engagement. You also have the ability to be comfortable with a high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves".

Main Responsibilities/Duties of the Job

Core Responsibilities

Provide operational leadership for all assigned projects

Responsible for aspects of planning, management, report writing and programming of projects

Analyse project specifications to accurately plan activities to ensure profitable and timely delivery of works

Provide technical project advice and assistance to operational teams

Ensure that you play an active role in keeping the team appropriately motivated to deliver for the business across all key responsibility areas

Develop project plans, gain the necessary approvals and deliver in accordance with these plans

Provide site teams with appropriate targets in terms of work outputs and deadlines

Actively monitor outputs achieved and provide timely feedback of information to the Transformation Lead

Control and communication of project documentation to stakeholders. Timelines, project plans, kick-off meeting notes and milestones

Raise any feedback to implement process improvements

Facilitate the definition of project scope, deliverables and success criteria

Management of projects in line with the defined project management methodology and standards

Creation of project plans to identify tasks, deliverables, milestones and resources whilst ensuring that appropriate documentation is in place

Escalation of issues to ensure the wider project team and appropriate stakeholder group are kept informed

Management of risks, aligned to appropriate accountabilities, impact and mitigating actions

Capture lessons learned in alignment with the delivery methodology in order to support continuous improvement initiatives
