Your new company
Hays Education are looking for Humanities Specialist Teachers who are looking for work from September in local Humanities departments. We work with a large number of schools on an exclusive basis around Berkshire who are looking for Humanities Teachers jobs to support catch up sessions for GCSE's and A Levels and work in Humanities Classrooms across the region.

Your new role
As a History, Geography, RE Teacher you will be taking responsibility for the education of Secondary school students; planning preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class and maintaining a positive learning environment on a daily and/or long-term basis. Working with our Secondary Education team to secure a role for the new academic year will give you the opportunity to find a role that is tailored to you as a Humanities Teacher. Whether that is day-to-day supply or a long-term teaching position, on a part-time or full-time basis, in a small mixed form, village school or multiple form entry large school.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for a Humanities Teacher job you must have Qualified Teacher Status (UK) and experience teaching within the last five years as an Humanities Teacher or in a similar job, this can be within a mainstream or SEND setting. You will have an excellent understanding of the UK curriculum. You will ideally be an approachable and patient Teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations, whilst demonstrating a professional manor at all times.
