Teaching Assistant Warrington

The Education Network is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant for an outstanding special school in Warrington. The school 's education and development of their pupils is supported in a pleasant, happy, safe and caring environment, where belief in the importance of positive, interpersonal relationships is firmly embedded alongside an incredibly supportive environment for all staff.

The role is for a 4 week period to cover sick leave from 26th October. This may be extended if further leave is required. You will provide classroom support for a small group of children with a range of SEN including-epilepsy, ASD, MLD and additional support with feeding and personal care. Experience of working in a similar classroom environment is desirable but not essential as is experience of de-escalation and intervention techniques. An up to date Team Teach certificate would be extremely advantageous.

Most importantly they require someone who has a calm, patient and structured approach and who has experience of supporting pupils with additional needs. The post is a full time role Monday to Friday.
