We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed teacher of English for a full-time role commencing as soon as possible. You will be required to teach English at both GCSE and Functional Skills level. The desired teacher will be part of a very caring and nurturing staff team and will possess the necessary attributes to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, and who may be disengaged with education.
The school provides an environment for young people aged 11-16 who are not reaching their full potential in mainstream schools. They offer tailored curriculums, and a safe and nurturing environment for pupils to enhance their self-esteem, and achieve their educational goals.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Be confident delivering the English curriculum.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of staff who put children at the heart of everything that they do.
Hold a recognised teaching qualification and possess either QTS or QTLS
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
Have a nurturing character to bring out the best in the pupils
