Our client are a regional provider of building construction and maintenance services operating within the public sector, carrying out a wide range of services to both main contractors and RSL / LA clients in the South East.
You will be the sole accounting professional within the company and as such the role includes all the finance functions, including book-keeping financial analysis, reporting and strategy. The bookkeeping role will include the day to day input and of all transactions, management of Sales and Purchase ledgers, reconciliation of accounts and preparing accounts to Trial Balance.
As the Finance Manager you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to colleagues so they can make sound business decisions. You will need a good head for figures and for dealing with modelling and analysis, as well as a sound grasp of financial systems and procedures.
Clear budgetary planning is essential for both the short and long term, and the SMT will need to know the financial implications of any decision before proceeding. In addition, care must be taken to ensure that financial practices are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations
The client is looking for someone to start ASAP so candidates must be available within 2 weeks notice period.
As a Finance Business Partner for our client, you will need:
CIMA or ACCA Qualification or vocational equivalent.
Main or sub-contracting construction experience
Experience with Quickbooks
