My client, a successful B2B business in St Helens is recruiting a Marketing Assistant to join their Marketing team. This role will report into the Marketing Manager, supporting the marketing function on day to day duties. Applicants must have a creative flair, strong copy writing skills with both some offline and online marketing experience..

Key Responsibilities:

* Assisting with the production of promotional marketing material (Business cards, leaflets, flyers etc)

* Content creation is KEY in this role. You will be generating web content for both digital and offline channels

* Market research, look at competitors and analyse, regular product updates

* Writing case studies and copywriting

* Maintain and be responsible for client database, ensuring company data is up to date

* Liaising with other internal departments such as sales

* Producing weekly and monthly reports to monitor results

* Travelling to trade shows, conferences and sales meetings as and when required

* Maintain website content for all websites within the company

* Being online and available to our Online Chat, dealing with customer enquiries

* (With training), be a point of contact for CRM processes

* Updating and maintaining the CRM system (zoho)

Skills Required:
The ideal candidate must have some marketing experience, both offline & some online marketing

Experience of compiling leaflets, brochures, flyers, writing case studies, press releases

Experience of updating and amending website content and email campaigns using mailchimp

Knowledge of managing or updating crm databases (Zoho, Microsoft dynamics, Salesforce or bespoke CRM system) - desirable

Knowledge of social media channels, ie, linkedin, facebook, you tube, twitter, snap chat

Strong copywriting skills

A creative flair

Graphic Design knowledge (Adobe Suite) - desirable

Work well in a team and with a wide range of people

Be organised, methodical and have a good business awareness

Be willing to learn new things and take on new challenges daily

Awareness of Wordpress, web design, HTML/CSS and CRM systems (Zoho) would be an advantage but not essential as you will have an opportunity to develop knowledge in these areas.

Company Benefits:

Salary up to £20k - Depending on experience

Hours Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm
