Our client is a key player in the FMCG sector and they are currently looking for someone who can join them in a newly created position heading up their busy transactional teams.
Taking responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Accounts Receivable and Payable teams this will be a challenging but rewarding opportunity and duties will include;
Ensuring that both ledgers run smoothly from the processing of invoices all the way to payments and receipt of cash
Coaching team members, providing them with support and guidance that will enable them to do fulfil their roles to a high standard
Handling and resolving any escalated queries as appropriate
Cashflow management and control
Ensuring that funding is in place and managed appropriately
Working closely with management accounting team to ensure timely close of ledgers on monthly basis
Month and year end reporting
The successful candidate will have a proven background managing large transactional teams and will also have experience of a multicurrency environment.
Exposure to ERP systems would be a distinct advantage but advanced knowledge of Excel is a pre-requisite.
If you have worked in the FMCG or manufacturing sectors this would aid your application immensely.
