An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a highly commercial and reputable business in the role of Marketing and Communications Executive. This role would suit someone bright, motivated and astute with excellent attention to detail and first class communication skills.

The successful candidate will/be:

Working with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute, measure and refine the corporate marketing communications plan to support the company's strategic aims
To execute the marcoms plan to support corporate and service promotion across all effective
communication channels online and offline including print, PR, web, email and social media

Client outreach to identify, connect and arrange a range of business activities such as road
shows, meetings, and seminars

Design and send mailers for conferences, content releases and other media using Mailchimp or similar tools
Working closely with the Database Coordinator to ensure all leads are entered into the CRM and
fulfilled or forwarded to the appropriate member of the team

Research, identify and register for industry events, and set up meetings via event partnering systems
Research prospective clients and contacts to request and schedule appointments for events
Manage the timeline for creation of the company newsletter, White Papers and other marketing collateral
Update the company website and post content
Create posts on social media with content using appropriate tags, images, and shortened links,
and respond to comments and posts as necessary

Develop, implement, and evaluate effective integrated B2B marketing campaigns utilising all
channels including online and offline marketing

Measure and report on the effectiveness of lead generation campaigns, web traffic using Google
tools, e-mail responses and the results of market research communications

Essential Skills

• Knowledge of the life science industry

• MSc or BSc in Biology, Biotechnology, or similar

• Degree in Marketing or the equivalent level of experience

• First-rate written communication skills with an engaging style and close attention to language, grammar, and accuracy in business copywriting

• Strong client orientation

• High level of experience in B2B marketing communication within the pharma, biotech, life sciences, CRO and CDMO markets

• Actions orientated and result driven with high analytical skills

• Social Media (LinkedIn and Twitter)

• Microsoft (Word, Excel, Office365)

• Experience of CRM marketing (Microsoft Dynamics)

• Determined and focused on objectives

• Ability to work autonomously to tight deadlines with accuracy

Desirable Skills

• Experience with website CMS (ideally WordPress)

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
