Accounts Administrator

Location: Bournemouth

Salary: £21k-£24 DOE

Shifts: Full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Main Purpose of role

Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the accounts department

Key responsibilities

Client money management for the firm in line with FCA CASS guidelines
Settlement of trades
Manage fee creation and apply future settlements
Ensure accuracy of all client bank account details held on our operating system
Set up payments through online banking
Process dividend claims to and from the market
Maintain General Cashbook ledger in XERO
Collate month end reports for the preparation of monthly management accounts
Review client paperwork and check bank payment details

Experience/knowledge required

A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts or within financial services environment
Excellent IT skills

Level of qualifications
