SRP Healthcare Registered Homecare Manager***
SRP Healthcare are rapidly expanding and are now looking to recruit a Registered Homecare Manager for our Homecare Division based in our head office in Colchester.
Successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress onto Regional Homecare Manager - Essex.
Main function of the job:
* To provide leadership to the administration, care and nursing staff and people management functions of
* To carry out, and provide leadership in marketing the service and selling its services at the agreed prices
* To maintain the operations of at the standard agreed with the Registered Provider, within the financial budget or other parameters set by the Provider
* Recruitment of staff
* Induct new starters in accordance with policy Lead, motivate and direct staff
* Conduct staff supervision and annual staff appraisals for all heads of department Develop staff to full potential ensuring succession planning for
* Ensure multidisciplinary team working is embedded in
* Seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
* Take responsibility for your own professional development through performance and development reviews and undertake any relevant training
* Ensure accurate and legible records are kept
* Regularly seek feedback from all stakeholders and plan changes according to feedback
* Ensure compliance with statutory and requirements on all reportable areas within the service provision

* Previous experience of working in similar environments
* Previous experience of working as a service manager within a homecare/domiciliary setting
* Experience of working with Service Users who have additional support needs
* Managing budgets
The Ideal Registered Homecare Manager Candidate
* Must have experience within the Homecare/Domiciliary Care sector
* Understanding of CQC assessment criteria
* Experience in managing people
* Must hold a current British driving licence
* Be qualified or willing to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care
* A good understanding of risk management and health and safety management.
* Self-motivated, organised, flexible and caring
* Excellent administration and good IT skills
* Train the Trainer Certificate would be beneficiary
* Must have excellent communication and presentation skills
* Great ability to build relationships within the local community
* The ability to establish key contacts within the care sector.

Skills/Qualifications:
1) A minimum of 2 years' experience of managing a homecare/domiciliary care service.
2) Knowledge of CQC regulatory requirements.
3) Strong leadership and management experience.
4) Hold the qualification of QCF Level 5 or equivalent or be prepared to undertake the qualification
