Support Worker required for a unique and varied role in enabling a vulnerable 15-year-old male with multiple learning disabilities to access the wider community.
Seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed individual to join a small established care package. You will be supporting a young, 15-year-old male with SEND to access the community, as well as providing support at home when needed.
This role would be suited to a second job or requirement for a part-time role whilst studying etc. Hours available are mainly focused around weekends during term-time. Carers work on a 2:1 basis with child, working two weekends each month - totalling 32 hours ( approx. ). There is potential for more available hours within school holidays - ideally candidates would be able to accommodate this.
Previous experience within a care setting/role is preferred, or qualifications based around care. The young male is incontinent, therefore experience with personal care is desirable, or at least a willingness to learn.
A Valid UK Driving Licence is essential for this role, as there is regular use of young person's mobility vehicle.
- Current DBS online (preferred but can be provided)
- Own car and valid UK driving licence (preferred)
